This guide will walk you through the Utility APE tools setup process. These steps will show you how to configure and setup the UA tools in your server. ## Getting Started **Installing the bot**:\ \ **1.** You've received your bot invite link - clicking this will prompt you to add the UA bot to your server and the bot will join as 'Your Server Name Rewards'. You can freely change the name of the bot as needed.\ \ **2.** Create a new role that has the Administrator permission and assign that role to the new bot. If you have an existing role that has this permission you can assign the bot that role instead. The bot only needs this permission to do the quick-setup, so you can remove the admin role after that is completed if you need to.

Create a role with the Administrator Permission enabled for your bot to run the .quick-setup command. Ensure you Save Changes at the bottom after editing permissions.

Assign your new admin role to the Rewards bot.

\ \ **3.** Time to run the `.quick-setup` command which will prompt you with a YES or NO questions to initiate automated channel creation. We highly recommend you press YES and allow the bot to setup the default channels for you.

Run the .quick-setup and type yes to confirm.

\ \ **4.** With the quick-setup completed you can move on to setting up the [permissions ](/ua-engagement-bot/engagement-tools-setup/permissions.md)for those channels created and move any admin channels to your own admin category.
