# Configuration

Set up your avatar, currency name, currency icon, chat channel, announcement channel, and raid-to-earn functionality.

Getting started you want to locate your <mark style="color:blue;">#bot-testing</mark> channel or an admin channel where you can enter in bot commands. \
\
Then you will type `.ah` or `.admin-help` This will pull up a list of available commands that admins can use (anyone with the Manage Server permission will have access to these commands).

<figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FgJHRPqGMrwlzrBh0vGOJ%2Fah.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=9591252b-540f-49d9-9db7-6ffbde954f91" alt=""><figcaption><p>You can type .admin-help or .ah to access this admin only commands page. Recommended to do this in a private channel since community members cannot use these commands. Any admin with the Manage Server permission can use the commands listed.</p></figcaption></figure>

1. At the top of the list you see the <mark style="color:orange;">**Basic Configuration Commands**</mark>. You can preview a description of any command by typing it in the chat.\
These are the config commands that you'll use:\
   `.set-avatar` - To change your bots avatar/pfp\
   `.set-currency-name` - Set a new currency name\
   `.set-currency-emoji` - Set a new currency emoji\

   \
Below this you will see <mark style="color:purple;">**Discord Actions Reward Setup**</mark> which has the following commands to customize your setup:\
`.set-chat-channel` - Set a channel where members can earn Coins by chatting\
`.set-reaction-channel` - Set a channel where members can earn Coins by reacting\

   \
Lastly, if you've completed your <mark style="color:blue;">Twitter Elevated access application</mark>, you can enter in your <mark style="color:green;">Twitter API keys</mark> with this command:\
`.configure-twitter` see this section for more details: [Raid-to-Earn (OnlyRaids)](/ua-engagement-bot/engagement-tools-setup/raid-to-earn-onlyraids.md)\
   \
   The [Raid-to-Earn (OnlyRaids)](/ua-engagement-bot/engagement-tools-setup/raid-to-earn-onlyraids.md) section also covers the <mark style="color:green;">`.raid`</mark> and <mark style="color:purple;">`.tweet`</mark> commands.<br>
2. `.set-avatar` - changes the pfp for your bot. To use this you can type `.set-avatar` and paste in any image you want to use as the new pfp.<br>

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2F31BshH8olafhCeJiKGrr%2Fset%20avatar.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=ea582933-18a7-4fc3-aa91-cdaa78b335bd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

3\. `.set-currency-name` - To use this you'll type `.set-currency-name` "UA Coins" and replace UA Coins with your own brand of coin/tokens. You can change this at any time and it won't affect anyone's balances.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FH18Vr0WdWabRfU40KkFJ%2Fset%20currency.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=3d2f1d7c-2c40-43d7-9b99-843905728946" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

4\. `.set-currency-emoji` - Set a new emoji icon to be associated with the currency name. By default this is a little gold coin, but you can change it to any emoji that you have on your server.\
The emoji you use **must** be an <mark style="color:purple;">existing</mark> emoji on your server, you can use a custom one but you will need to upload it into your server settings first.&#x20;

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FsthAzdkwr4l7BwFc2Qvv%2Fset%20emoji.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=415238e8-fd63-4959-922e-eaf12887b724" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

5\. `.set-chat-channel` - This is where your community will generate x amount of coins every x amount of seconds for chatting. By default users will accumulate 6 coins per 10 seconds for chatting. We recommend you set this chat channel as your <mark style="color:orange;">#general</mark> chat. So the command would likely be `.set-chat-channel` <mark style="color:orange;">#general</mark>.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FCGV29sXcKO1GiXxgCQrA%2Fset%20chat%20chan.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=d61165d9-a6ab-43fd-b95b-8a2abad492a6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

6\. `.set-reaction-channel` - This is similar to the command above but this will reward users 7 coins for reacting to a post in the channel set. We recommend you set this to your <mark style="color:orange;">#announcements</mark> channel.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FU7BCcEwijRVMH2nZRf5h%2Fset%20announcements%20chan.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=b21b84fc-b95d-455b-ab17-d3c057d2d581" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

7\. `.set-reaction-reward` - Customize the reward amount users will receive per reaction per post. We recommend using between 6 and 8 reward points per reaction.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2Fz5w8t8a4ypX5AuPRoABZ%2Freactionrewards.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=e20b7d97-0a48-414b-bfda-1409d317929d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

8\. `.set-invite-reward` - Customize the reward amount users will receive for inviting their first 5 members to the server. This is defaulted to 1000 coins and you can change it to anything you'd like. This reward can only be claimed once.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FYqGL1ArycSyvaVmpxBYI%2Finviterewards.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=75644bab-4bdd-4b33-aefc-b55671f4f8bc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

9\. `.set-daily-reward` - Customize the daily reward amount users will receive from using the `.daily` command.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FWvKg6sHTuCl2jva516gI%2Fdailyreward.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=c35950e1-7ed5-4fe0-b719-fe9e2e81bde5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

10\. `.set-work-reward` - Customize the work reward amount users will receive from using the `.w` or `.work` command.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FeJmxyh8CIj82yHvcneNd%2Fworkreward.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=ac2df786-5d40-4d07-9ab8-7fc8cceddbd3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

11\. `.set-minimum-claim` - This command changes the minimum claim amount in your bank section. By default a user will need to generate 5000 coins in order to claim and save the coins to their bank.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://45384882-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWzP6DlWzbPBZHhSwoPx3%2Fuploads%2FuQ7abvZegQBtOICZgE78%2Fsetminclaim.PNG?alt=media&amp;token=93e5d55f-be2d-4790-8247-2ad8abaaf226" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

\
After you've completed the <mark style="color:orange;">**Basic Configuration Commands**</mark> and the <mark style="color:purple;">**Discord Actions Reward Setup**</mark> commands, there are three additional commands you'll want to quickly set up:\
`.quest-application` - Set quest applications channel \
`.quest-logs` - Set logs channel for approved/rejected quests\
`.store-sales` - Set a storefront sales tracking channel\
\
Type `.quest-application #quest-applications` to assign this channel as the channel where your Admins can approve or deny quest submission.\
\
Type `.quest-logs #quest-logs` to assign the results of the approved or denied quest submission.\
\
Type `.store-sales #store-sales` to assign a channel to track when items are purchased from the store.
